We have been led to believe that we need protection from this world. We develop armor, walls, and shields to protect us from things that might hurt us. All the while we also miss out on those things that make us grow. Incidentally, they happen to be the same thing most of the time. Going through life afraid of getting hurt is worthless. You might as well never leave your room, never talk to anyone, and never listen to anything. Come out of your shelter and don't be afraid to love someone who may not love you back.
